At push of a button you can choose from a pushing or pulling upper-body motion, working two distinctly different muscle groups. Soft Trac Elite pedals provide ultimate shock-absorbing comfort throughout the entire workout.

In fact, the Star Trac Elite is the same as cheaper Star Trac elliptical model the Pro, but allows the upper body handles to be disengaged (they are not moving along with the pedals). Another difference is the price. If you think you need this additional feature for an extra $300, it is machine for you. Otherwise, you should go with a cheaper Star Trac Pro cross trainer.
